Volunteer with Beach Cabana at the Taste of Downtown: Waterfront in Long Beach on August 15, 2024 to share about university programs and initiatives at this delicious community event!
By volunteering with us at the Taste of Downtown you help your friends and neighbors create a memorable experience at this family-friendly night on the town, while connecting with fellow 49ers and Long Beach community.

Like a city street with an ocean view, get ready for a perfect experience with delicious options to choose from. Join us on the Waterfront, right next to Shoreline Village, for a culinary extravaganza that will tantalize your taste buds. Indulge in a variety of dishes and drinks from local restaurants and food vendors. From savory to sweet, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Don’t miss out on this event where you can savor the flavors of Downtown. Mark your calendars and come hungry!
There will be two (2) shifts available at this evening event, so you'll be able to volunteer and join in the festivities as well!
More detailed instructions about location will be provided, but you can count on us being around the Waterfront area of Downtown Long Beach between Shoreline Village & Pine Ave. Pier.
Volunteer training will be provided.
