The Beach Cabana gives YOU the chance to represent the Beach out in the community!
Volunteer with Beach Cabana at the 2023 Long Beach Veterans Day Festival on November 11, 2023 to share about university programs and initiatives at this family-friendly celebration to recognize our local Veterans who stood in defense of our country!

The City of Long Beach proudly presents the 2023 Veterans Day Celebration to honor those who have served and are currently serving in the United States military. This year’s Veterans Day Celebration will feature a welcome ceremony with local elected officials and community leaders, a veterans recognition ceremony and a veterans and community resources fair. The celebration will also include emceeing and DJ’ing by Mr. Quick (intermittent sets) and live musical performances by the Satin Dollz (noon and 1:15 p.m.) and Knyght Ryder (2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.), a Kids Zone, food trucks, a giant inflatable obstacle course, flyovers with historic aircraft (12:45, 2, 2:25, 3 and 3:55 p.m.), and community showcases.
By volunteering with us at The Long Beach Veterans Day Festival you help your friends and neighbors celebrate and create a memorable experience, while connecting with fellow 49ers and Long Beach community.
There will be two (2) shifts available at this event, so you'll be able to volunteer and join in the festivities as well!
Volunteer training will be provided.
