DAY AT THE BEACH | April 15
This inaugural event allows newly admitted students and their families an exclusive first-look at CSULB facilities, student organizations, academic resources, and more. It is a great way for you to connect directly with newly-admitted students and support them as they begin their academic journey at The Beach!
No specialty skills required--just a helping hand and friendly attitude required!
We will do our best to provide a volunteer opportunity for as many interested individuals as possible. Please be aware that volunteer roles will be assigned based on operational need and availability.
- Roles and responsibilities may include helping with set-up/take-down, checking in guests, guiding visitors, answering guest questions, coordinating supplies, and more. Majority of roles may involve time spent outdoors.
- Volunteers are expected to check in with their volunteer area leads at the start of their shift. Details will be sent to you via email.
- Be sure to wear comfortable attire; CSULB gear is encouraged!
- Volunteer t-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis on event day while supplies last.
Who May Volunteer?
- All volunteers must have an active CSULB ID to submit the interest form and participate as a volunteer.

- CSULB faculty and staff may volunteer for a full day (7 a.m. - 4 p.m.) shift.
