Volunteer at the CSULB Global Festival & Concert
Be part of one of CSULB’s signature cultural celebrations! The CSULB Global Festival & Concert brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to celebrate global cultures through music, performances, food, exhibits, and interactive experiences.
Volunteering is a great opportunity to support cultural engagement, build leadership skills, gain event experience, and connect with the campus community. Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
Food & Hospitality Team
Support food vendors and hospitality areas. Help maintain a clean, safe, and environmentally responsible event.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with dining area maintenance by keeping seating areas clean and organized
- Support hospitality needs for performers, speakers, and VIP guests
- Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to event staff
- Monitor waste, recycling, and compost stations
- Encourage sustainable event practices
- Support post-event breakdown and site restoration
Ideal for: Volunteers passionate about sustainability and campus stewardship. Volunteers who enjoy customer service and hospitality.
