The CSULB LGBTQ+ Resource Center and Student Affairs appreciate all those who volunteer to assist us in celebrating the academic accomplishments of all LGBTQIA+ students at the Annual CSULB Lavender Graduation Celebration.
Shift Information and Roles
2:00 - 4:00 PM - Set Up (decoration, food set up, and registration)
- Example tasks: putting up decorations, setting up clothes and table settings, setting up food for distribution, setting up check-in table and check-in process, beginning to welcome guests and direct them to the check-in table.
4:00 - 6:00 PM - Registration and Food
- Example tasks: Welcome guests, check-in graduates, handing out programs, serving food, directing folks to sit, eat, and enjoy community.
6:00 - 8:00 PM - Program and Troubleshoot
- Example tasks: Watching program and celebrating, answering questions from guests as needed.
- Key Roles Needed: 2 Readers for graduate names
8:00 - 9:00 PM - Clean Up
- Example tasks: Taking down decorations, cleaning up any leftover food, etc.
